Who am I ?

I am Marie-Pascale Le Goff, self-taught painter from the island of Batz, where I started drawing before I could even walk (or almost). After scientific studies (yes, I know, it's surprising!), I worked as a nurse on this splendid island for 15 years, from 1990 to 2005. Following personal problems (don't worry, nothing dramatic), I I put away my stethoscope and, in 2011, I reinvented myself as a painter on the island of Batz.

I opened a workshop/gallery/boutique, next to my birthplace, at the foot of the semaphore, in the center of the island, which I named L'île à L'eau (because humor is is important).

My paintings are dedicated to the island of Batz, with a particular obsession for the sea and boats. I started with watercolor, tried a little acrylic, and now I'm addicted to oil with a knife. My works oscillate between the serenity of calm days and the power of storms, but always with a Zen touch. They are colorful, contrasting, full of light and reflections, and painted with boundless energy.

My workshop is a place where humor and simplicity are present. I welcome visitors to introduce them to my unique artistic universe. Come explore my creations and let yourself be transported by the magic of the island of Batz through my eyes.
